“And I tell you , you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” – Matthew 16:18
The Original Church
St. Mary’s Church started out as a small parish in Carleton Place in 1884. We have since added several additions in order to allow the church to accommodate our growing family. Feel free to visit our church anytime or join our family of parishioners permanently.

Relocating the Rectory
The original rectory was moved in 1993 to allow for the construction of the new church. The rectory was moved to Franktown Road.
The Current Church
The existing church, built in 1994.
The Rock!
The church is often referred to as the church with the rock! The rock originated from Lanark Highlands.
